Hey guys, thought i'd post something new for once.
I was thinking, maybe once I week I could post a photshop text effect tutorial or something of the sort, maybe as like a mini feature or something.
I have been using photoshop for a couple of years now and I think i've been told i'm pretty good.
I've only just started trying to make text effects, so some of them are crappy, but ah well.
The first example that I tried is what my page title is. The kimokik's adventures logo, it took only a few minutes to make, but the effect is nice.

The weekend
Sorry I haven't made any posts for a while, been preparing for a promotions board for cadets.
I spent the last couple of weeks stressing over it, and now it is over, and I came out with a partial pass to a corporal.
This means that I failed one of the sections on the exam and I can retake it within the next month to gain the promotion.
So, hopefully, if I get that part right next time, I will become a corporal...Which would be brilliant.

Sorry about that last post.

When I am in school, my account has been banned off of blogger, so I get my mates to log in.
Then random shit gets posted.
I am working on posting something that should be uploaded for maybe wednesday night, a bit more geeky but cool none the less.
Sorry about the lack of updates once again, remembrance weekend as a cadet sucks the life out of ya.
And this weekend coming up isn't much better.
Anyway, will update soon, and also 150 FOLLOWERS!!!

Flash Mob
Hey Everyone, sorry about the lack of updates at the moment, things are starting to build up and I'm trying to catch up with everything.
Anyway, I've been asked to plan a flash mob, If you don't know what a flash mob is, here is an example (on a massive scale)
Okay, now that you got the idea, I need to plan one.
It needs to be small, around 30-40 people, and any ideas would be good.
I have planned one before, set up all through facebook, and it went well, I just need some newer ideas, mine are getting a bit...Old.
Anyway, will be updating more often once this week is over, things are, as I said, getting quite stressful.
Anyway, hope you all have a good remainder of the day,

Caffeine Overdose
Just saw this story a couple of days ago... Apparently the guy ordered these bags of caffeine, not knowing how powerful it is undiluted, then swallowed a few spoon fulls.
This led to throwing up blood and dying, pretty gruesome..
Caffeine lovers beware: it may help you wake up in the morning, but the stimulant can also kill you.
It proved fatal for 23-year-old Michael Bedford, a British man who died in April after ingesting "spoonfuls" of a caffeine powder equivalent to roughly 70 cans of Red Bull.
Bedford swallowed two spoonfuls of the substance at a party with friends, according to reports in the British media, even though the powder he bought came with a warning to consume only one-sixteenth of a teaspoon.
He quickly got sick, threw up, began slurring his words, and collapsed.
"He was puking up blood and he was sweating really bad," a friend, 17, told the Nottingham Evening Post.
Though he was rushed by ambulance to a local hospital, Bedford died shortly after swallowing the powder.
His death was ruled accidental in an inquest last week, but his family places the blame on the caffeine powder’s easy availability.
Bedford bought the powder online for just over five dollars, or 3.29 British pounds.
"It makes me feel sick [that these products can be bought so easily]," his grandmother Glenis Noble told the Post. "I feel like it should be banned."
"I think there should be a warning on it saying it can kill," added his aunt Sue Burton.
"This should serve as a warning that caffeine is so freely available on the Internet but so lethal if the wrong dosage is taken," Coroner Dr. Nigel Chapman said at the inquest.
It’s just the latest report tying caffeine to serious health problems.
Last month, roughly 50 students at Central Washington University were hospitalized after drinking Four Loko, a beverage nicknamed "blackout in a can" that mixes a high percentage of alcohol with caffeine.
One can costs around $2.50, and is equivalent to consuming five to six beers and several shots of espresso at once.

As everyone has been saying it is a lot better than the first. It actually has some sense of horror in it xD

Which Anti-Virus to Use.
Hey guys, Me again.As you have probably guessed from my other updates, I am a pc gamer.
For a few years now I have been playing games on my PC, but recently, the anti virus I am using, Eset's Nod 32, is not really happy with the latest game releases.
A lot of games are getting extremely low FPS results when playing with it turned on, and it is a pet hate of mine to turn it off. So, I was wondering what you other gamers out there like to use.
I've heard some good things about Avira, and one of my mates uses AVG, but I have heard that wasn't too good.
Avira is looking most promising so far, but apparently bit defender has a gamer setting.
Also, would anyone know why I am getting such a low FPS is games, when I am using quite a good rig?
23 FPS on an MMOFPS with all settings on LOW is not good and makes me an unhappy person.

This game, from what I have seen so far is pretty amazing. It is classed into an MMOFPS, which is not a new genre, but a lesser known.The game runs pretty much the same as most MMO's, you get experience, you level up, you get new items, however this one is much more INTENSE.
The vast amount of weapons, upgrades, different armours and everything is pretty amazing.
The graphics are also pretty good as they should be for an 11gb file... took a while to download xD.
I have already had a lot of fun playing this game and I have only owned it for less than a week. If you are thinking of getting this, it is on sale at the moment if you buy it from the global agenda website.
